Fred Perry is a famous UK fashion brand of casual clothing and accessories. It was named after the tennis player Fred Perry, who was the first English to win the men's singles at 1934, 1935 and 1936 Wimbledon Championships. Perry repeated the exercise in 1935 and '36.
The clothing line is especially popular in indie subculture and for his collaboration with Amy Winehouse, Gorillaz and other famous designers. "The Fred Perry Shirt" is their more famous line of apparels.
I had the pleasure of working with the Fred Perry team who was composed of Marni Dasanjh, Rita Cruz and Alice Roberts who were based in London. They wanted a new team to lead their paid acquisition strategy, as they found their previous agency was not responsive enough, didn't come with new ideas and didn't perform wellAs the marketing lead for Fred Perry.
I restructured their Google Ads and Facebook ads account from day 1, by simplifying it and only keeping the assets that were performing. I also set a structure that would allow us to work more efficiently together, by knowing in advance when a new collab or promo would take place giving me time to prepare the new campaign in advance.
After just a few days, we saw ROAS increasing by 20%, and after a month, ROAS peaked by 34%, and this despite the fact that spends went up too. With performance going up, the Fred Perry felt comfortable launching new markets in Europe including France and Germany, markets that were not performing well with their previous agencies.
